In 2002, Kobexindo introduced Daewoo S500 into the Indonesian mining industry and became an immediate force in the 50 tons class offering unrivalled production with an economical investment. The Daewoo S500 has successfully became a staple unit in almost every coal mines in Kalimantan and its strength and performance continued to form its own reputation in Indonesia.
Understanding the mining need for Off-Highway Trucks, in 2003 Kobexindo acquired the distributorship for Terex and began to market the TA 40, TR 60 and the TR 100. By 2004, Kobexindo had managed to become Terex's number-one South East Asian dealer and was able to deliver more than 50 TR 60s to our customers while acquiring major Terex deals in Pama, Kideco and Adaro.
In the industrial sector, Kobexindo has continued to be the top two market share leaders in Indonesia with Jungheinrich Lift Trucks. With ingenious designs and quality that's proven and tested, Kobexindo is the main supplier for electric lift trucks to many Foreign Based Companies (PMA) in the manufacturing, pharmaceutical, chemical and cigarette industries.
The addition of Mercedes Benz Hauling Trucks, the Actross to Kobexindo in 2004 fur ther demonstrates that we will always continue to add outstanding exceptional products for our customers.
